Beydoun, born in Beirut and raised in Detroit, holds degrees from the University of San Diego and has a background in both business and politics.
Nasser Beydoun, an American business executive and former CEO of the Qatar-based Wataniya Restaurants group, is known for expanding major brands like Caribou Coffee and Rainforest Cafe in the Middle East. He has served as executive director of the Arab American Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Arab American Civil Rights League, and the first Arab American liaison to the Arab League.
He has contributed to numerous political campaigns and was a Democratic candidate in the 2024 U.S. Senate race in Michigan. Beydoun has also served as a trustee of the Henry Ford College Foundation and co-chair of BRIDGES, a federal partnership with Arab American communities.
