Jeffrey G. Collins, a prominent Detroit attorney, has had a distinguished career as a federal prosecutor, appellate judge, and trial attorney, specializing in white-collar criminal defense. He served as a Wayne County Circuit Court presiding judge, Michigan Court of Appeals judge, and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan under President George W. Bush, overseeing one of the nation’s largest U.S. Attorney’s Offices.
Afterward, he became a partner at Foley & Lardner LLP before founding his own firm, Collins & Collins, P.C., where he practices commercial litigation, white-collar crime, and appellate law. An adjunct professor, author, and past president of the Association of Black Judges of Michigan, Mr. Collins is also a Michigan “Super Lawyer” awardee, recognized for his dedication to ethics and legal excellence.
